Rules-Based Message Routing Engine TheRules-Based Routing Engine provides message creation and dispatch ofmultiple, new, independently formatted, and delivered messages tomultiple destinations or processes from a single input message. TheEngine maintains high transactional performance without regard to thenumber of rules to be evaluated (potentially millions of rules). TheEngine is completely generic across different applications. NEONetsupports a Publish-Subscribe messaging structure. Subscribers receive allthe data, and only the data, to which they subscribe. NEONet maintainstransparency between publishers and subscribers, allowing users toimplement NEONet without changing applications, platforms, or databases.Messages are never lost, even in cases of platform or database failure.Additionally, the NEONet Rules Engine maintains transactional integrityamong messages for all publishers and subscribers, important forcompleting and tracking messages in complex, high-volume networks.Messaging and Queuing NEONets robust messaging and queuing modulesupports interprocess and cross-platform communication, deliveringsuperior synchronization and recoverability. With NEONet, messagedelivery isnt constrained by different hardware platforms, operatingsystems, or DBMSs. Applications dont have to check for uniqueness ormissing messages, and analysts dont have to write software to operatingsystem-specific, low-level communication protocols. IS managers canupgrade business networks without affecting business applications. Allmessages sent by committed transactions are always delivered as soon asthe receiver and the network are available. NEONet delivers each messageexactly and only once, and delivers messages from sender to receiver inthe precise sending sequence. As cooperating application networks become larger and moregeographically diverse, recovering the entire network following a failurebecomes increasingly more complex and time-consuming. Todays complexenvironments cannot experience downtime without significant negativeimpact. For mission-critical applications, NEONets synchronizationfunctionality supports "rolling" recoveries (worked into local days),reducing critical downtime even in cases of hardware or operating systemfailure.
